Daughter of the Mexican poet and diplomat Homero Aridjis, Chloe Ardjis was born in New York in 1971 and spent her childhood in Mexico and Holland. She studied comparative literature at Harvard and later did an M.A. at Oxford University where she graduated with a thesis on the subject of French poets and magicians of the XIX century. Her first book was entitled “El libro de las nubes”.
