José Manuel CALVO

(Madrid, 1955) is the Director of Communication for PRISA Noticias. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Journalism, he started out his career at Cadena SER. He was correspondent in Brussels and headed the International desk. He was also correspondent for SER radio station in Washington. Upon his return to Madrid he joined EL PAÍS, where he was head of the International desk and senior writer of the section. In 2003, he returned to Washington as correspondent for the daily.
