Shrish CHANDRA JASWAL

He started his career as a linguist at the Central Institute of Indian Languages of Mysore (1970) and since then, over almost 41 years, he has taught in various universities and institutes including York University (UK), Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre (Moscow), Moscow State University and St. Petersburg University. He has participated in various national and international conferences. He has authored many books and articles on sociolinguistics, psycholinguistics and applied linguistics and for three years he was the editor on the reputed Indian journal ‘Media’. Currently he is Professor of Hindi at the University of Valladolid.
