Lola ARIAS

(Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1976) writer, theatre director, performer and singer-songwriter. In theatre she works with actors, non-actors, dancers, musicians, children, babies and animals. "In Striptease" (2007) a one year old baby was the main character of her play; in "El amor es un francotirador" (2008), actors narrate real love stories whilst a rock band plays live music; in "Mi vida después" (2009) six actors rebuild their parents youth during the 1970’s based upon pictures, letters, cassettes, clothes, etc. Later on in Germany she was the director of “Familienbande” in Munich. Together with Stefan Kaegi, she directed Chácara Paraíso, a biographical installation. El amor es un francotirador (2007) and Los que no duermen (2011) compose her discography and Los posnucleares, Poses para dormir and Las impúdicas en el paraíso are a few of her literary compositions which have been translated to English, French and German.
