Lecturer at Girona University and on the Sound Art Master’s at the University of Barcelona. Post-doctoral researcher at the IRCAM-CNRS unit in Paris (1996-1998), where she researched the sound space in contemporary music. She directed the translation and publication of John Cage, Escritos al oído (1999), and is the author of En el silencio de la cultura (Sexto Piso, 2016) and La escucha oblicua: una invitación a John Cage (Sexto Piso, 2014). She has organized and coordinated international events such as Músicas, artes y tecnologías: por una aproximación crítica (Barcelona / Montpellier, 2000), Musique et Écologies du son (Paris, 2012), and Música, Sociedad y Procesos de subjetivación (Girona, 2015).
