Carlos SÁNCHEZ LOZANO

(Bogotá, 1964) He has been a Spanish teacher for 32 years. He started out in adult teaching and has worked at all levels from pre-school to university. He has also written literary criticism through book reviews for El Espectador’s Magazín dominical and for the Banco de la República’s Boletín Cultural y Bibliográfico. He has written essays on Ángel Rama, Baldomero Sanín Cano and García Márquez. He was a text-book editor for twenty years and later, for two years, published the books of María Inés McCormick, Luisa Noguera, Óscar Rodríguez, Evelio Rosero, Triunfo Arciniegas and Julia Mercedes Castilla. He is currently taking a course on how the new media are changing the ways in which we read, write and talk.
