A Social Communication and Journalism graduate from the Universidad Javeriana. He has worked at CAMBIO16 Colombia, El Espectador and SEMANA magazine. Lecturer in Literary Journalism at the Universidad Javeriana, he also teaches at the Universidad Externado de Colombia. Winner of two Simón Bolívar Awards, in 1995 for Young Journalism while at CAMBIO16 and in 1999 for Best Coverage of a News Story while at El Espectador.
