(Guadalajara) He started his career with the Siglo 21 newspaper in Guadalajara, the city where he was born. He studied Communication Sciences at the ITESO University and later worked as an editor at Reforma, was New York correspondent for El Universal, and was the editor of Diario Monitor, Chilango and El Centro. Two reports written during his time at the head of Chilango magazine won the National Journalism Prize. He is currently the Director of Journalistic Investigation at Mexicanos Contra la Corrupción y la Impunidad.
