She studied History at the Catholic University of Louvain (Belgium). She has worked for publishers in the USA and the UK such as Lerner Publications; Farrar, Straus and Giroux; and Walker Books. In Mexico she designed and coordinated a collection of books for children and young adults for Ediciones Castillo-Grupo Macmillan. She worked for the Department of Culture for three years in charge of the advancement of children’s and young adult fiction. She currently manages the promotion of books for children and young adults at Conaculta. She lives in Mexico City.
