Bruno BIMBI

bimbi-bruno Bruno Bimbi is a journalist with a doctorate in Literature and Language from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica in Rio de Janeiro. He was Secretary of International and Press Relations for the Argentinean LGBT Federation and one of those responsible for the political strategy that led to the approval of equal marriage in Argentina. He currently lives in Brazil, where he is coordinating the campaign for equal marriage. He is a correspondent for the Todo Noticias channel, Communication Secretary of the Rio de Janeiro branch of the Partido Socialismo e Liberdade (PSOL) and is the political and legislative coordinator for the federal politician Jean Wyllys (the first gay activist to take a seat in the Brazilian Congress). He creates the Para Tod@s blog, for the TN website, dedicated to sexual diversity. He has worked for the newspapers Crítica de la Argentina and Página/12 and contributes to Tiempo Argentino and O Globo, as well as to the magazines Imperio GVeintitrésNoticiasLonely Planet Argentina and Newsweek Argentina.
