(Colombia, 1953) Visual artist and performer. He has illustrated and authored ten books for children, one poetry collection and two artists’ books. Furthermore, he has illustrated almost 50 books by other writers from Colombia, Spain, Venezuela, Mexico and Peru. He has received distinctions as an illustrator, actor and oral storyteller. His artwork has featured in solo exhibitions in the Americas and Europe and he has painted murals both in Colombia and in Spain. He is also a singer-songwriter. As a storyteller, actor and writer, as well as an occasional tourist, he has visited almost 40 countries on 5 continents.
