Join us in this uplifting schools choir event. Choir leader Fiona Evans has been working with hundreds of local primary school pupils to create this fantastic concert where the children invite you to Imagine the World through song.

Building with Books

Venue: Mess Tent
Create constructions using old books as your building blocks. Hay Castle Trust explores buildings, architecture, engineering and recycling using books from the Castle Honesty Bookshop. Try out different structures and designs such as a book igloo, paperback snake and a fiction den. Real work will begin on the restoration of Hay Castle this year — using stone, wood and steel.

Meet and engage with the students from Ruskin Mill Trust, a unique educational charity that takes its inspiration from Rudolf Steiner, working with students with special needs, predominantly autism and Asperger’s Syndrome. The Trust delivers a powerful educational package in the form of Practical Skill Therapeutic Education.
