This year, we return with in person activities in the Hay Joven, Hay Festivalito, and Hay Delegaciones sections, and for the first time we present talks in the municipalities of Bernal, Corregidora, and Tequisquiapan.

Jorge Viladoms (Mexico) is an acclaimed pianist who has toured the world playing as a soloist as well as together with orchestras and chamber ensembles, working with classical musicians such as Gautier Capuçon, Philippe Cassard, Lionel Cottet, Fumiaki Miura, Camille Thomas and Charlie Siem. He presents here Luz de Luna, an exciting project for which he will share a stage with the dancers from the Ballet de Monterrey. At this concert the piano will be accompanied by cello and classical dance, creating a powerful and introspective performance that invites reflection. In a piece that has elements of both the classical repertoire and contemporary approaches, music and dance come together to make a unique experience that will leave nobody untouched.

The artist and musician with an outstanding trajectory, Jorge Viladoms, surely the most internationally acclaimed pianist of Mexico, talks to the renowned scientist Miguel Alcubierre (Mexico) about music, life and physics, guided by María Emilia Beyer. This talk takes place in the context of the 30th anniversary of the Universum Museum (UNAM), to commemorate three decades of disclosure and celebration of the best of science in Mexico.

Jarvis Cocker is known around the world as the charismatic frontman of the famous British band, Pulp, and the creator of a string of indie-rock hits which had particularly great musical and cultural impact in the 1990s. He has presented his own programme on BBC Radio 6 Music, made documentaries for Radio 4, worked as an editor for Faber & Faber, and continues with his music career, launching albums such as Beyond the Pale, one of his finest post-Pulp releases. This year the Spanish-language version of his autobiographical book Good Pop, Bad Pop has been published; in it, and through objects stored for years in his attic, he looks at aspects of his life and music career. This is an event for Pulp fans, for lovers of good literature and for those who enjoy good conversation. With the cultural journalist and television presenter Mariana H (Mexico).
