Hay Festival Querétaro 2022 – Theatre
We invite you to browse the programme of the seventh edition of the Hay Festival Queretaro, to be celebrated from 1-4 of September 2022. This year, we return with in person activities in the Hay Joven, Hay Festivalito, and Hay Delegaciones sections, and for the first time we present talks in the municipalities of Bernal, Corregidora, and Tequisquiapan.

The group’s members are women from the informal sector: street vendors, market sellers and house workers, all single mothers. Their plays are based on the lives of the members, under the direction of Egly Larreynaga, who has much experience in El Salvador and abroad. On this occasion, the members of the group will talk to Felipe Rosete about their experience and trajectory.

On this occasion, they present the play Si vos no hubieras nacido, produced in collaboration with FITU (Teatro UNAM), La Casa del Teatro and Fundación Sertull, which deals with maternity, sexuality and violence, based on the experiences of those who make up this theatre group.
