Leontxo García(Spain) trains in educational chess and has experience in over 30 countries. He has spoken publicly about the educational, social and therapeutic applications of chess (with regard to brain aging and Alzheimer’s), as well as about the history of the game and its champions (he has met every world champion since Botvinnik). This Member for Educational Chess of the International Chess Federation has been a journalist since 1983. He will offer us a fascinating look at the educational potential of chess, particularly among children, linking it to the most common school subjects. He will talk toGabriel Ñaña.

This extreme sportsman has set un unthinkable record: running 86 ultramarathons in 86 days. 60 km per day. Over 5,170 km in total. Between November 2022 and February 2023, the athlete ran through all the geographical zones and climates of Peru. He undertook his challenge accompanied by a camera, and now stars in the documentary that tells his story: Camino de los sueños.Savas Coban, a German of Turkish origin, talks about his run through Peru with the BBC journalist Alejandro Millán.

Leontxo García(Spain) is a journalist specializing in chess since 1983, and has been writing for El País since 1985, trainer in educational chess and speaker on the educational, social and therapeutic applications of chess (with regard to brain aging and Alzheimer’s), as well as about the history of the game and its champions (he has met every world champion since Botvinnik). He is also a Member for Educational Chess of the International Chess Federation. He and the chess player Julio Ernesto Granda (Camaná, Arequipa), Peruvian International Grandmaster, Child World Champion and four times Panamerican Champion, will talk to Felipe Ortiz de Zevallos, founder of APOYO and a great fan of the game.
