Hay Festival Jericó 2026

Cosiaca is a fiction series about the most formidable muleteer in Antioquia. Roguish, given to telling stories, and proud of his homeland, Cosiaca is a cultural icon, one of the most popular figures from the folk culture of the region. At this event,César Betancur ‘Pucheros’, himself a trovador and screenwriter of the series; and John Álex Toro, the actor who plays the lead role will talk to Juan Luis Mejía about what happens when lines written in a script are taken to the screen, and shape such a memorable figure from popular culture.
