Mark Skipworth, deputy editor of The Telegraph, began a career in newspapers as a cub reporter in the north of England before moving to The Sunday Times where he spent 19 years as a correspondent, investigative journalist and senior editor. In 2008 he joined The Telegraph, where he has overseen sport and the flagship Saturday paper. Having witnessed at first hand some of the seismic changes within the media industry, he will look back at how news coverage has evolved over recent decades and forward to how it must adapt if it is to survive and thrive in a digital age. Introduced by Jesús García Calero.
