Three poets and a journalist discuss the intimate biography in poetry: Antonio Colinas, the winner of the 2016 Queen Sofía Ibero-American Poetry Prize, the most important award in Spanish and Portuguese; Antonio Lucas, poet and journalist, and winner of the Loewe Poetry Prize in 2014, and who has been writing for El Mundo’s arts section since 1996; and Javier Rodríguez Marcos, a journalist at El País, and author of 2015’s Vida secreta (Secret Life), a work in praise of simplicity. Moderated by journalist and novelist Marta del Riego, author of Sólo los tontos creen en el amor (Only fools believe in love), published in 2010.
