Willie Garnett's Big Band

Magnificent seventeen-piece swinging big band led by veteran saxophonist Willie Garnett. The line-up is as follows: Andy Gibson, Laurie Brown, Mike Hornet and Mick Collins on trumpets; Jeff Baxter, Chris Low and Alan Tomlinson on trombones. On saxes: Mike Ruby (bari), Bill Wrathal (alto), Mike Coates (lead alto), Alex Garnett (tenor) and Kelvin Christiane (tenor). Other band members include Denis Smith (drums), Tim Pharoah (double bass), Frank Toms (keyboard) and, of course, bandleader Willie Garnett on sax and magic wand!
