Simply book your choices here, and your picnic will be prepared for you at the Castle. Just go to the collection point before the performance and state your name (no ticket needed)

We’re delighted to offer a selection of tasty picnic boxes for audiences at our Shakespeare performances at Hay Castle. Created by Epicure using seasonal and where possible local produce, each box will provide one delicious, filling meal. Book in advance – your picnic boxes will be freshly prepared and available at dedicated collection points before the performance for your convenience.

There are four options:

• Hot Smoked Salmon, beetroot relish, buckwheat, fine herb and blushed tomato salad, minted mini new potatoes, local leaves, lemon and herb dressing pot (contains fish, sulphites)

• Honey Baked Ham, beetroot relish, buckwheat, fine herb and blushed tomato salad, minted mini new potatoes, local leaves, lemon and herb dressing pot (contains sulphites)

• Vegan chickpea, roasted beetroot, burnt spring & red onion salad with vegan mint yoghurt, minted mini new potatoes, local leaves, lemon and herb dressing pot (contains soya)

• Three Fine Cheeses, crackers (gluten free option available on collection), Netherend Farm butter, house chutney (contains milk, gluten, sulphites)

Please note: The picnic boxes are prepared in an environment that uses all 14 common allergens including nuts, peanuts, seeds, dairy, gluten, fish, etc.
