Courtney Pine & Zoe Rahman

Double Bill

– The Big Tent, Christ College
Zoe Rahman

The wonderful Zoe Rahman kicks off this double bill. She has firmly established herself as one of the brightest stars on the contemporary jazz scene, a vibrant and highly individual pianist/composer. Her style is deeply rooted in jazz, yet it reflects her classical background, British/Bengali heritage and her very broad musical taste. Playing music from her new album, she is joined by her exuberant trio, alongside the hauntingly beautiful clarinet playing of her brother, Idris Rahman.
