Inauguration of the visual arts programme

Join us for a tour through the various exhibitions of the visual arts programme. The walk will begin at the Palacio Quintanar, where the British Council will present the photography exhibition “Sueños compartidos/Shared dreams”, by Britain’s Gabriella Sancisi and Spain’s Juan Valbuena, as well as retrospective of the 110 years ofEl Adelantado de Segovia and the work of Leopoldo Pómez. The tour will move on to the Casa de los Picos to view the sculptures of the AHEC contest as well as those by Sou Fujimoto, from Wallpaper magazine. The next stop will be at La Alhóndiga for the screening of EFE agency’s video El reloj, and the “Álbum ilustrado danés/Danish Illustrated Album” exhibition. The last stop will be at the Museo Esteban Vicente, to view Esteban Vicente’s exhibition, “Improvisaciones concretas: collages and esculturas”, and the invited work, “Am Grunde der Moldau/Drei Kaiser”,by Anselm Kiefer. The tour will end in the Plaza Mayor.
