Elan Mehler and Sava Medan

The pianist and bass player, two of the most magical performers in contemporary jazz, met at a session in Paris and almost instantly discovered a musical connection. Medan’s novel approach and big sound found a purchase in Mehler’s compositional and improvisational style and led to the creation of a completely new body of work for the duo. They are touring this work for the first time.
