Bengal Lights

Bengal Lights is a new literary journal published from Dhaka. It seeks writing that will reflect the spirit and diverse voices from South Asia, and forge literary connections between Bangladesh and the wider world. It also hopes to nurture new writing in English from Bangladesh, while also presenting the best of Bangla writing to the world. To mark its launch, excerpts from the debut collection will be read by Kaiser Haq, Awrup Sanyal, Maria Chaudhuri, Pushpita Alam and Ahsan Akbar, among others.
