On a catastrophic summer night in 1976 there was a violent earthquake in Tangshan which marked 7.8 degrees on the Richter scale. Li Yuanni’s twins were covered in rubble and Li had the awful quandary of deciding which twin to save. She decided to save her son even though her daughter survived and was later adopted. When mother and daughter meet 32 years later, will the daughter be prepared to forgive her mother?
