Warmly described by Harris Goldsmith in New York Concert Review as ‘a truly fine musician’, Daniel Martyn Lewis is a pianist who is achieving recognition for the purity and beauty of his Bach interpretations. He will perform one of the greatest masterpieces in the whole of western keyboard literature, the complete Well-Tempered Clavier. Its two books of 24 Preludes and Fugues cover every major and minor key, and display a breathtaking diversity of styles and genres. Concert 1 covers The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book One nos 1–12.
