The Scribblers Tour

The final event of the Scribblers Tour 2015 takes place at Bangor University on 24 March, featuring inspiring sessions with Martin Daws, Robert Rigby and AJ Grainger.

The Scribblers Tour Programme 2015

The Scribblers Tour hits the road every spring with a FREE programme of writers and experts to develop students’ creative writing skills and broaden their horizons.

Focusing on literacy and the environment, a fantastic line-up of the best young people's writers visit universities across the country between January and March, where they run interactive sessions for KS3 and KS4 students from all over Wales.

The Scribblers Tour is all about getting young people thinking and writing creatively. Each young person is given a special ‘Scribblers Notebook’ which they can fill with writing on the day, and take home to keep.

Thank you so much for the great day we had today. It was very well organised - we were greeted by representatives and escorted to the venue as quickly as possible. The speakers were vibrant, engaging and a real inspiration to our pupils. I watched them concentrating intently, at times laughing and feeling really pleased with their books and autographs! I'd love to come again next year and thank you for helping writing come alive for many of our pupils.’
