The climate emergency theme at Hay Festival is gaining momentum as more and more Festivalgoers add their thoughts to the wishing tree in the Baillie Gifford marquee. As politicians, writers and thinkers join events over the weekend, children and adults have been writing down their wishes for the future, in support of young activists who have led a series of school strikes worldwide.
