Hay's many talented creatives have gone to town in their festive interpretations for shop windows, possibly spurred on by the prize for the best dressed window offered by the Chamber of Commerce. There's a distinctive Dickensian glow to many of the displays, a joyous invitation to forget the outside world for a weekend and revel in all the good things in life.
