A British palliative care doctor for the NHS and author of Dear Life, exploring love, loss, grief, dying and what really matters at the end of life. Before training in medicine, she was a broadcast journalist, producing current affairs documentaries focusing on Al Qaeda, the Iraq War and the civil war in the Democratic Republic of Congo. She recently founded a charity, Hospice Ukraine, to support palliative care teams across the country.
