Óscar COLLAZOS

(Bahía Solano, Colombia,1942) Óscar Collazos began his literary career writing stories such as El verano también moja las espaldas and Son de máquina. In 1968 he left Colombia to live abroad. He was a teacher in Paris where he became involved in student and revolutionary movements. Later on he replaced Mario Benedetti at the helm of the Literary Research Centre in Havana, before moving to Barcelona. His publications include short stories, novels and poetry anthologies, he also writes a column for El Tiempo. Collazos lives in Cartagena and his novel Rencor was published in 2006.
