Una mesa redonda en abierto: el público cartagenero debate los límites de la libertad de expresión en la cultura
En 2026, el Hay Festival programó por primera vez una mesa redonda inspirada en el formato Long Table, concebido por la artista y performer Lois Weaver. Esta mesa redonda invita a los presentes a participar en la conversación, abandonarla, volver a ella, o escribir sus impresiones sobre la propia mesa. Este tipo de formato ofrece la posibilidad de utilizar un lenguaje que interpele y conecte a todo tipo de audiencias, eliminando barreras impuestas por el lenguaje institucionalizado de la academia, el colonialismo y el patriarcado.
