We are delighted to announce a chapter of Hay Festival in Mexico City this autumn.

Hay Festival México will take place in Mexico City from 23 to 25 October, with talks and debates from national and international thinkers across different venues in its historical town. Hay Festival Mexico will also have an online presence, co-producing HayFestivalMexico@BBCMundo with BBC Mundo online from 19 to 25 October.

'We are very excited to work together with Hay and explore digital formats to allow our audience to get in touch directly with great minds from across the world. We want to make culture more accessible and digestible to a wider audience.' Hernando Alvarez, Head of BBC Mundo.

'We are very pleased to continue celebrating Hay Festival in Mexico with local partners and to massively increase its reach with this new and inspiring collaboration with BBC Mundo.' Cristina Fuentes, Director of Hay Festival Latin America.

HayfestivalMexico@BBCMundo will celebrate the best of literature, the México20 project, journalism and freedom of expression, with a series of short, inspiring interviews and talks, live hang-outs and live streaming of the talks taking place in Mexico City.
