Jorge CARRIÓN

carrion-jorge Jorge Carrión (Tarragona, 1976) is a writer, cultural critic and director of the Master’s in Literary Creation at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. He is a regular contributor to the newspapers La Vanguardia and The New York Times. Between 2000 and 2005 he was a member of the editorial board of the now defunct magazine Lateral. From 2006 to 2009 he co-edited the literary magazine Quimera. He has published several works of non-fiction, including Viaje contra Espacio. Juan Goytisolo y W.G. Sebald (2009), Teleshakespeare (2011), Bookshops. A Reader’s History (2017), Barcelona. Libro de los pasajes (2017), Against Amazon (2020) and Lo viral (2020). His experimental projects include among their number Crónica de viaje (2014). He is the author of the trilogy of novels Los muertos, Los huérfanos and Los turistas (2014-2015). He also writes comic books and podcasts, and is an exhibition curator. Most of his books have been published by Galaxia Gutenberg. His work has been translated into 15 languages.
