Guest Researcher at the Centre for Economic Research and Education and consultant on gender and inclusion to UNAM’s Cultural Promotion Department. She was Chair of the National Council for the Prevention of Discrimination for a period of four years and, before that, was head of the Political Affairs Department at the Mexican Embassy in Washington DC. Working for international organizations, governmental institutions and social groups in Mexico, the United States, Guatemala and Argentina, she has participated in building and passing legislative and public policy initiatives linked to human rights. She is the author of essays and articles and has given classes at various universities. She has a Law degree from the Universidad Iberoamericana and a Master’s in Law from New York University.
