Salvador ARELLANO

arellano-salvador Full time lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Philosophy at UAQ, a member of the National Researchers’ Network (level I, 2020-2023), and of the National Board of Science and Technology (CONACyT) with a positive PRODEP profile. On 29 May, 2013, he was a given the Aurora Arnaiz Amigo National Prize for the best doctoral thesis in the field of Bioethics, granted by the Humanities Department at UNAM and the Aurora Arnaiz Foundation. Titular member of the Caribbean Research Ethics Education Initiative (CREEI), run by the Fogart International Center, National Institute of Health, USA. He has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Guanajuato, achieving mentions for academic excellence from the Rector (1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994). Grant-holder from the Spanish Embassy and the Universidad Pontificia in Salamanca, Spain. Holder of a Master’s in the Philosophy of Social Sciences from the Autonomous University of Querétaro. Doctor of Philosophy from the Philosophy Faculty of the University of Guanajuato (with a CONACyT mention for academic excellence). Honourable mention on graduation.
