Zahara Gómez (1983) From an Argentine family, born in Madrid, raised in Paris, settled in Mexico. She focuses her work on memory and justice processes regarding victims of forced disappearance, forensic work, and clandestine graves in Latin American. She has been a National Geographic Explorer since 2022. Her work has been exhibited in different spaces and I have participated in international exhibitions such as: Memory recipes book, LA Plaza de Culturas y Artes (Los Angeles, 2023); Aleph Festival, UNAM (Mexico City, 2023); Bronx Documentary Center, Latin, American Photo Festival, (Bronx, NY, 2023); Treasures, Roberto Garza Sada Center for Architecture, Art and Design (Monterrey, 2022); Treasures, La cité miroir (Belgium, 2022); Natura, Prehistomuseum, (Belgium, 2022);Memory Recipes Book, Centro de la Imagen (Mexico City, 2021); Memory Recipes Book, Getxophoto (Getxo, 2021). Reminiscences, Kirchner Cultural Center (Buenos Aires, 2018); Natura, CASA gallery (NY, 2018); La Playa, XVII Photography Biennial of the Centro de la Imagen (Mexico City, 2017); Kaunas Photo Festival (Lithuania, 2016), among others.
