aguilar-roxana

Student on the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Children’s Literature, Media and Culture and a grant-holder of the same programme. A graduate in Hispano-American Language and Literature from UASLP. Her article “Palinuro de México, mural Neobarroco” was published in the digital magazine Desyerto (2019). She has loved literature from a young age, but it was during her exchange at the University of Granada in Spain when she discovered her passion for editing and the world of publishing. She has a particular interest in literature for children and young adults; she wrote her degree thesis on this subject (Panorama de la Literatura Infantil y Juvenil Mexicana en los primeros años del siglo XXI) and she hopes to be able to contribute to the dissemination and development of this genre in Mexico. She participated as an editor of the short story “Veneno para humanos” for Elipsis 2019, the training programme for emerging writers and editors run by the Hay Festival and the British Council Mexico.
