Sara JARAMILLO KLINKERT

Sara Jaramillo Klinkert is a journalist from the Pontifical Bolivarian University and has a master's degree in Narrative from the Madrid School of Writers. In 2019, she published the autobiographical novel Cómo maté a mi padre (How I Killed My Father), which was a finalist for the National Novel Prize in Colombia. In 2020, she published Donde cantan las ballenas (Where the Whales Sing), winner of the 26th San Clemente Prize, and in 2023, she published Escrito en la piel del jaguar (Written on the Skin of the Jaguar). El cielo está vacío (The Sky is Empty) is her most recent novel. Sara is a writing teacher and Sunday columnist for the newspaper El Colombiano.
