Braulio Guerra Mendoza, who publishes as Mago, studied Communication Sciences and has a Master's degree and a postgraduate degree in Creative Writing. He is the author of the Instagram and Facebook micro-story community, @historiasmago. He has published seven books for children and young adults. He was a fellow at the San Miguel de Allende International Writers’ Festival and has won several awards, including the 2024 La Matatena National Prize for Illustrated Children's Stories. He has contributed to anthologies and cultural magazines, and has participated in the Guadalajara International Book Fair. In terms of studies in the field of astronomy, he has a degree in Observational Astronomy.
