(Italy, 1967) Lorusso completed her studies in Bologna with a dissertation on the Spanish Civil War. She later moved to Peru where she taught Italian at the universities of Lima, Cuzco and Tumbes, as well as to guerrillas from the Túpac Amaru and Shining Path groups in the Castro Castro high security prison. Her works include The Sorceress, Historia de un feminicidio and Fighting Women. She currently lives and works in England.
