Edgar MORIN

The French philosopher and sociologist, Edgar Morin (Paris, 1921), is the creator of the theory of complex thought. In his youth he took part in the Resistance to the German occupation during the Second World War. He has spent most of his career at the French National Centre for Scientific Research. Among his works are Pour une politique du civilisation (1997), Culture et Barbarie européennes (2005), Où va le monde? (2007), Vers l'abîme (2008) and La Voie (2011), all of them published in Spanish by Paidós.
