Fernando DE LA JARA

Fernando de la Jara was born in Lima in 1948. His vocation was evident at an early age, when he was just a teenager of 17 he was commissioned to paint a large mural for the altar of a church. In 1971, the Universal Pictures film The Last Movie, directed by Dennis Hopper, was shot in Peru. Fernando then (aged 22) had the opportunity to collaborate with the art director of this now considered cult film.
