Josep María ESQUIROL

Josep Maria Esquirol is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Barcelona, where he gives classes in Contemporary Philosophy and directs the Aporia research group (which focusses on the relationship between philosophy and psychiatry). His recent books have been very well received and are being published in Italian, Portuguese, English and German. These include La resistencia íntima (2015), which won the Barcelona City Prize and the National Prize for Non-fiction; La penúltima bondad (2018); and the most recent Humano, más humano. Una antropología de la herida infinita (2021).
