Member since 1979 of Yuyachkani. In 2012 she was named a Worthy Cultural Figure, a recognition awarded by the Ministry of Culture. A graduate in Education from the Ricardo Palma University. She is a qualified teacher of Art Education, specializing in Drama, from the National Higher School of Dramatic Art. Actor and creator of the monologues Confesiones (2013) and Rosa Cuchillo (2000), this last play establishing itself as a major symbol of the struggle for and defence of human rights in Peru, and it has been seen by thousands of people throughout Peru as well as across the Americas and Europe. As a theatre director with Yuyachkani, she has directed several works for open spaces and at the CEXES performing arts centre. With Yuyachkani she has participated in the creation and performance of plays such as Discurso de Promoción (2017), Cartas de Chimbote (2015), Concierto Olvido (2010) and El último ensayo (2008) both in Peru and abroad.
