Anna-Lina Mattar (Cologne, 1990) is German-Mallorcan. She graduated in Sociology from the University of Barcelona and studied Illustration at the Escola Massana. She currently combines work at her own engraving and illustration workshop (Espai Brut) with other creative projects. She has worked for the German publishers Klartext and Vinclair and has self-published several of her works, including Xiringuito (2017), Mercat provisional and La Caca (2018). Her book AlmÃbar (A Buen Paso Editorial) won the 2018 International Illustration Competition run by the government of Gran Canaria.
