Elisa Guerra holds a Master's degree in Education from Harvard University. In 2015 she was named Best Educator in Latin America and the Caribbean by the Inter-American Development Bank and was a finalist for the Global Teacher Prize -considered the Nobel Prize for teaching. She was a member of UNESCO's international Futures of Education commission. She is the author and/or co-author of more than 25 textbooks, educational books and books for children, and has given more than 350 lectures in English and Spanish in 21 countries. Guerra founded “Colegio Valle de Filadelfia”, a network of schools from where she produces the podcast “Las Primeras Letras” with children between 10 and 15 years old.
