She teaches at the Juriquilla campus of the Escuela Nacional de Estudios Superiores, part of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, on the International Business programme, specializing in Global Society and Inclusion. She is a member of the National Network of Researchers, at Level I. Her academic and research work focuses on the analysis of violence, security, gender and urban development, with an emphasis on the territorial and social transformations resulting from organized crime and security policies. She has also consistently contributed to public discourse through articles and essays that critically examine international dynamics and contemporary challenges to regional development.
