With almost three decades of professional experience, Cecilia Barría forms a part of the BBC Mundo reporting team. She has travelled far, telling stories as varied as the civil war in Libya, terrorist attacks in London, drug trafficking in Mexico, protests in Chile, climate change in Bangladesh, a coup in Honduras, presidential elections, natural disasters, giving coverage in both audio-visual and written formats. In recent years she has specialized in economic news. She currently works at the Miami bureau.
