Andrea Díaz Cardona is part of the BBC Mundo team. She studied philosophy, journalism and has a master's degree in film production. She has been producing non-fiction podcasts and documentaries in different formats for almost a decade. She has directed and edited documentary projects in rural, Afro and indigenous communities. She was a researcher at Concordia University and NORDIK Institute in Canada, freelance journalist for various digital media and editor of social media networks and communities at Publicaciones Semana, Colombia.
